3.From the application menu, select <F2>.

4.Scan the bar code for an item, or use the keypad to enter the item’s ID number or description (for example, 00-693-00). (If you use a scanner, the code is entered automatically; if you use the keypad, you must press the <ENTER> key).

The item ID appears on the third line of the screen, followed by the date and time, and the portable is ready to accept another item ID

5.Repeat step 4 until you have collected IDs for all items. Then press the <F4> key to return to the application menu.
