INVMODEM

Using the PT2000 and TopGun with PALPRO

INVMODEM

INVMODEM (Inventory Application with Modem Option ) works exactly like INVPRO. However, an additional feature lets you send the collected data to a computer over a modem.

To use this application, you should have experience with modem communications. You should know how to set up the modem for your system and how to use the communications software that runs it. If you are connecting to a bulletin board system, you should know how to log into the system.

Note: For information about using the application, see page 29.

Feature

Note: The modem should be set up for transmission at either 2400 or 9600 baud with no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and no date compression. INVMODEM uses Xmodem protocol for file transmissions.

1.From the application menu, select <F3> for file options.
