Set Config Command

zoning

Initiates an editing session in which to change switch zoning attributes. The system displays each parameter one line at a time and prompts you for a value. For each parameter, enter a new value or press the Enter key to accept the current value shown in brackets.

Table B-8. Set Config Zoning Parameters

Parameter

Description

AutoSave

Determines whether zoning changes will

be saved to flash (non-volatile) memory or

to RAM (volatile) in each switch. The

default is On.

Default

Determines communication among

ports/devices in the absence of an active

zone set. “All” enables all ports/devices to

communicate with one another. “None”

prohibits communication among

ports/devices.

Merge Mode

Enables SANbox2 switch to interoperate

with Brocade™ switches running

non-FC-SW-2 compliant firmware.

Examples The following is an example of the Set Config Port command:

SANbox2 $> admin start

SANbox2 (admin) #> config edit

SANbox2 (admin-config)

#> set config port 1

A list of attributes

with formatting and current values will follow.

Enter a new value or

simply press the ENTER key to accept the default value.

If you wish to terminate

this process before reaching the end of the list

press ’q’ or ’Q’ and

the

ENTER key to do so.
