Display On/Off Feature

When the DATE/TIME/NORMAL/TITLE switch is in NORMAL, you can turn the normal viewfinder displays on or off.

Press OSD on the camcorder (DISPLAY on the remote) to turn the viewfinder displays off.

Press the button again to turn the viewfinder displays on.

Quick Review

Press and release 55/EDIT –

(55REW/SCAN on remote) when the camcorder is in record pause to review the last few seconds of a recording.

The camcorder will play back the last few seconds of the recording, return the tape to its previous position, and return to record pause.

Note: Do not press and hold 55/EDIT –

(55REW/SCAN on remote) or the camcorder will go into edit search.

Edit Search

Edit search uses 66/EDIT + or 55/EDIT

(55REW/SCAN or 66 F.FWD/SCAN on remote) to precisely position the tape while the camcorder is in record pause.

Press and hold 55/EDIT –

(55REW/SCAN on remote) to visually search the recorded tape in reverse.

Press and hold 66/EDIT +

(66F.FWD/SCAN on remote) to visually search forward on the recorded tape.

Release the button for the camcorder to return to record pause at that point on the tape.
