For Rigid Vent

For Flex Vent

For Both Rigid & Flex

NOTE: If this isan outsidecorner, the minimum distance between the vent and the outside corner is 6" (15cm) with AstroCap termination cap or 12" (30cm) with Rigid Vent termination cap. (For Example Dura-Vent).

3)For exterior walls, insulate the enclosure to the same degree as the rest of the house, apply vapour barrier and drywall, as per local installation codes. (Do not insulate the fireplace itself.)

You must maintain clearance from the vent to combustible materials for flex or for Rigid Vent (Refer to "Clearances" Section).
