1.5 Items to Be Prepared by User The following lists the items that need to be prepared by users separately from this product.

You need to prepare the following power supply separately from the product package in order to supply power to the
SH7670 CPU board.

The installation described here uses the tools made by Renesas.
To use this product following the installation, you need to prepare some items separately from the product package.
The table below lists the tools made by Renesas that users should prepare.

Notes:
• If you already have the E10A-USB emulator main unit and are using any device group other than the SH-2A group,
you need to purchase an “additional device group license tool” separately from the product package.
• For details on how to set up a new device group in the E10A-USB emulator, refer to Section 3.2.2, “Setting Up the
E10A-USB Emulator” in Chapter 3 of this manual.
1.5.1 Recommended Host Computer Environment
To use the above Renesas tools, we recommend using the host computer and the OS version listed in Table 1.5.3
below.
