.Selectthe option <USER EQUALIZER> to create
yourindividual acoustic pattern.
The option<USER EQUALIZER> is displayed only if
”User”is set under <EQUALIZER>.

Sound mute

.Press the [ ] buttonon theremote control. The
soundis switched offand the following info window
appearson the displayfor approx. 5 seconds - see
thedrawing at left side.
.The sound is switchedon again, if you press the
button [ ], [ AVol -] o r [ "Vol + ] on the remo te
control.The following info window appears on the
displayfor approx. 5 seconds - see the drawing at
leftside.
Adjusting the picture
Whenthe display isswitched on for the firsttime basic values are set forcontrast, brightness,picture sharpness and colour.You
canadjust these settings separately asdescribed below, according toyour personal taste and the locationof the display or the
lightincidence associated with it.

Contrast

.Pressthe [ "] button to increase the contrast.
.Pressthe [ A] button to decrease the contrast.

Brightness

.Pressthe [ "] buttonto make the picture brighter.
.Pressthe [ A] button to make the picture darker.

Sharpness

.Pressthe [ "] button to make the picture sharper.
.Pressthe [ A] button to make the picture softer.

Color

.Pressthe [ "] button to increasethe colour satu-
ration.
.Pressthe [ A] buttonto decrease the colour satu-
ration.
Thedark marked menu options are not availablefor the settings <INPUTS / PIP ⇒MAIN INPUT > ”PC(RGB)” and
”PC(DVI)“!

DNC

Theoption <DNC> stands for ”Dynamic Noise Control”.
WeakTV signals or poor video signals can generateirritating picturenoise. DNC dynamically adapts the effectof digital noise
suppressionto the picture’s content.

Photo CD

Theoption <PHOTO CD> is specifically for reproducingstill pictures, e.g. photo CDs or pictureCDs.
.Setthe option <PHOTO CD> to ”On” and still pictureswill be displayed automatically with optimumquality.

Film Mode (AVsour ces only)

thisfunction detects that theprogramme being broadcast is a filmand enhances picture quality.It is disabled by default.Select
theoption “Auto” to enable it.
