. Under the option <PROGRAMME> enter a chan- nel number that is not yet being used.
. Under the option <FREQUENCY> you must enter directly the frequency of the TV channel you are searching for using the numeric buttons on the re- mote control.
. If the picture is not perfect, increase or reduce the frequency entered in small increments.
. If the TV channel does not display a name, you can enter it under the option <NAME>
(see ”Changing the channel name”).
Under <OPTION> ”Decoder A” or ”Decoder B” can be selected only if a decoder is connected to SCART 2. The setting is ”Normal” when there is no decoder.

You can select the colour temperature from 3 predefi- ned settings or define a value yourself via the option
<USER COLOR TEMP>.
A lower colour temperature value increases the pro- portion of red in the picture and gives it a ”warmer” ap- pearance.
The proportion of blue light increases with an increa- sing colour temperature, the picture has a ”colder” ef- fect.
PIP Mode
The PIP Mode offers the possibility of viewing two image signals at the same time.
DYou can fade an external video signal, e.g. from the video recorder, into the current TV programme. D You can display a video signal, e.g. from a DVD player, at the same time as PC signals.
. Press the [PIP] button and the picture from the input set under the option <INPUTS / PIP ⇒ SECONDARY INPUT> (e.g. tu- ner) is displayed on the current screen.
If no signal is pending at this input port, the superimposed window remains dark.
The position and size of the window can be set.
. Under the option <PIP SIZE> - set the window size, under <PIP HORIZ.POS.> set the horizontal window position and under <PIP VERT.POS.> the vertical window position.
Any change in size and position becomes visible immediately.
. You can toggle between ”main screen” and ”Picture In Picture” by selecting the option <QUICK SWAP (F2)> or pressing the [F2] button.
. Select the option <INPUTS / PIP ⇒ PIP MODE> to set the PIP mode.
