Manual channel search

.Underthe option <PROGRAMME> enter a chan-
nelnumber that is not yet being used.
.Underthe option <FREQUENCY> you must enter
directlythe frequency of the TV channel you are
searchingfor using the numeric buttonson the re-
motecontrol.
.Ifthe picture is not perfect,increase or reduce the
frequencyentered in small increments.
.IftheTV channel does not display a name, you can
enterit under the option <NAME>
(see”Changing the channel name”).
Under<OPTION> ”Decoder A” or ”Decoder B” can be selected only if a decoder is connected to SCART 2.
Thesetting is ”Normal” when there is no decoder.

Still picture

Youcan generatea still picture with the[FREEZE] but-
ton or via the option <FREEZE PICTUR E>.

Color temperature

Youcan select the colour temperaturefrom 3 predefi-
nedsettings or define a value yourself via the option
<USERCOLOR TEMP>.
A lower colour temperaturevalue increases the pro-
portionof red in the pictureand gives it a ”warmer” ap-
pearance.
The proportionof blue light increases with an increa-
singcolour temperature, the picture has a ”colder” ef-
fect.

PIP Mode

The PIP Mode offers the possibility of view ing two image signals at the same time.
DYoucan fade an external video signal, e.g.from the video recorder, into thecurrent TV programme.
DYoucan display a video signal, e.g. froma DVD player, at the same time as PC signals.
.Pressthe [PIP] button and thepicture from the input set under the option <INPUTS / PIP ⇒SECONDARY INPUT> (e.g. tu-
ner)is displayed on the current screen.
Ifno signal is pending at this input port, the superimposed window remains dark.
Theposition and size of the window can be set.
.Underthe option <PIP SIZE> -set the window size, under <PIPHORIZ.POS.> set the horizontalwindow position and under
<PIPVERT.POS.> the vertical window position.
Anychange in size and position becomes visible immediately.
.Youcan toggle between ”main screen” and ”Picture InPicture” by selecting the option <QUICK SWAP (F2)> or pressing
the[F2] button.
.Select the option <INPUTS / P IP ⇒PIP MODE> toset the PIP mode.
