Multi-PIPfunction
The multi-PIP functionallows the simultaneous dis-
playof 16 television channels, 15 of which are in the
formof a still picture (snapshot)and a continually up-
dated picture, the current televisionchannel being
shownas a live picture (the main picture).
Tostart the multi-PIP functionyou can select via the
OSDmenu <INPUTS / PIP ⇒PIP Mode> “Multi-PIP”
orpress the [PIP] button on the remote controlseveral
times.
Afterstartingthe multi-PIPfunction the currentlytelevi-
sionchannel setting is adopted as the active mainpic -
ture(witha blue border) and then snapshots aregene-
rated of the first16 stored television channels. The
multi-PIPgroups of programmes are selected via the
numericbuttons [1]to[6]:[1] = programmelocation 1
to16; [2]=programmelocation17to32;....
Thepicture with the grey border marks the momenta-
rilyselected inactive television channel (snapshot or
mainpicture). The snapshotsare displayed clockwise
startingfrom the top left.A snapshot is updated every
secondso that each snapshot is updated once every
16seconds.
When the mainpicture is active you can switch over
thetelevision channel that appears inthe mainpicture
bymeans of theprogramme buttons [Y] and [B]onthe
remote control.
Tochange the active picture from themain picture to
multi-PIPsnapshots and vice versa, press the blue
buttonon the remote control.
Whenmulti-PIP snapshots is active you can selected
your desired televisionchannel in the snapshots by
pressingbuttons [A] and ["]. To adopt this channel in
theactivemainpictureyoumustpressthebluebutton
again.
Tochange the television channelfor an active snaps-
hot(blue border), press the button [Y]or[B].
Onceyou have selected theprogramme group 1 to 16,
allchanges to the snapshot settings are stored as fa-
vourites.You can set the favourites with the button
[0].
