VISIBILITY OF WINDOW IMAGERY
TheSuperView’s output consists of a high-resolutionimage assembled from a
specifiednumber of input images. It is important to understand which of these
inputs will be visible on the monitor.
Thef ollowing factors determine the visibility of window imagery and
backgroundhost computer graphics:
Thewindow’s source must be active and connected to an input channel that
istu rned on.
Awindow or windowed region of interest must be unobstructed by other
windows.
TheSuperView must be operating in the appropriate display mode to show
windowimagery with or without computer graphics, as preferred.
Wewill now consider the first two factors listed above. The third factor—the
SuperView’sdisplay mode—is discussed in “Autosync and Free-Run Display
Modes” on page 13.

WINDOWS ON
Thefirst factor determining whether a window input will be visible is simple—
the s ourcemust be poweredon and properly connected to one of the
SuperView’sinput channels. Also, the channel’sassociated window must itself
be turned on. The WINdow <window#> <ON|OFF> command turns
windowson and off.
