SERIAL PORT FUNCTIONS

Thesecommands control the baud and echo settings.

MISCELLANEOUS

Thesecommands control a variety of general SuperView functions.
Command Arguments Description
BAUDrate <1200| 2400 | 9600 | 19200 |
38400| 57600 | 115200> Setsthe s erial port baud rate. The value is
automaticallysaved in NVRAM.
Factorydefault: 9 600
ECHO <ON| OFF> Turnstheserial echo On/Off. The value is saved in the
NVRAM.The echo is only on com mands typed and
sentto the unit.
Note:Echo setting has no effect on responses issued
bythe SuperView; responsesare always visible,
regardlessof the echo status.

Command Arguments Description
AUTOSAVE <ON| OFF> TheAutoSave feature automatical ly stores the system
configurationapproximatelyevery ten seconds. The
processstores config uration information such as
HostList,InputList,Hostsettings, and displa y
parameters.AutoSave allows you to turn the NVRAM
automaticupda te mode on or off.
Factorydefault: ON
DEMO (none) Demoruns the built-in de mo sequence. Type “q” to quit
demo.
FrontPanel <ON| OFF> Enablesand disables the front panel.
Factorydefault: ON
Help [<command>] Help, without an argument will display t he entire serial
commandset. Help,withacommandasanargument
willdisplay detai led information about that command.
ID (none) Displaysth e product identification, product name,
firmwareversion num ber,date, and ser ial number.
PRESET <1...6> Storesyour current screen configur ation to the
designatedpre setp osition. This configuration includes
windowsize, po sition, and order, image parameters,
inputtiming parameters, and output timingparameters.
Youcan reload thesepresets using the Recall command.
RECALL <1...6>[<all>] Recallsa previously sav ed preset configuration.
Withoutthe ALL argument, t he SuperView recalls only
theposition, size, and priority level for eachinput
window.
Withthe ALL argument, the SuperView recalls all of the
parametersstored in the EEPROM (i.e. input type
selection, image controls, etc.). This opt ion will take
moretime since more param eters are being recalled.
RestoreFactoryDefaults (none) Restores all user settings to their factory default values.
