Shooting in Scene Auto Mode

In scene auto mode, the camera selects the optimal scene mode (GP.50) automatically.

The icon of the selected scene mode is shown in the display. The camera sets macro mode automatically when there is an object nearby, and an icon will be displayed on the picture display.

This scene is available only in scene auto mode. The flash will fire only if all the following conditions are met:

The flash is set to [Auto].

The flash is determined to be necessary because it is dark.

There is a figure or another object nearby.

If the camera is unable to select a scene, focus, exposure, and white balance will respectively be set to multi AF, multi AE, and multi-pattern auto.
