Note--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During recording, the zoom lever can be used for optical and digital zoom (GP.30). Super resolution zoom and step zoom are not available.

The camera shoots movies at 30 frames per second.

When [Camera Shake Correction] is set to [On] in the shooting menu, the camera shake correction function is active while recording movies.

The remaining recording time may not change uniformly because it is recalculated from the remaining memory capacity during movie recording.

You can record short time movies by setting [Snap Movie] (GP.84) in the movie menu.

Depending on the remaining battery level, the battery may become depleted during movie shooting. Use of a battery with adequate remaining power is recommended.

The details set in the [Focus], [Image Settings], and [White Balance] options in the shooting menu are retained when shooting movies. But these settings are changed automatically depending on the selected option as follows.

-When [Focus] is set to [Multi AF], [Face Pr. Multi], [Subj. Tracking], or [Multi-trgt AF], the setting changes to [Spot AF].

-When [Image Settings] is set to [Color], the setting changes to [Standard].

-When [White Balance] is set to [Multi-P AUTO], the setting changes to [Auto].

You cannot adjust focus manually durintg shooting movies even though [Focus] is set to [MF].

Shooting Movie with Inserting Split Points

You can split a movie and save split movies as separate files by pressing the Fn button during shooting movies. You can add up to ten split points.

Caution---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you split movies repeatedly, shooting may end before the maximum length of movie recording time is reached depending on the type of memory card used.

Note--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The points where the Fn button is pressed may differ from the actual split points because the camera sets the split points in one-second increments.
