Splitting a Movie

You can split a movie into two files.

1	Select a movie to be split in playback mode.
2	Select [Split Movie] (P. 88) in the playback menu.
	• For instructions on how to use the playback menu, see P. 86.
3	Press the ADJ./OK button to start playback.
	• For instructions on how to play back movies, see step 2 on P.84.
4	Press the ADJ./OK button at the point where you want to
	split the movie.
	• The movie pauses.
5	Press the Fn button.
6	Select [Yes] and press the ADJ./OK button.

Caution---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

•The original movie cannot be retained once the movie is split.

•The following movies cannot be split.

-Protected movies

-Movies flagged with [Flag Function Setting]

-Movies recorded less than two seconds long

-Movies recorded by other cameras

•Sufficient free space of the internal memory or SD memory card is required to split movies.

•You cannot split movies at the first or last second.

•Splitting time may be longer for some files.

•The split movie function is also available when a movie is paused during normal playback.
