Connecting to external devices

Viewing ﬁles on a TV or HDTV

Play back photos or videos by connecting your camera to a TV (HDTV) using the A/V cable (HDMI cable).

Viewing ﬁles on a TV

1In Shooting or Playback mode, press [m] → e → Video Out.

2Select a video signal output according to your country or region. (p. 135)

3Connect the TV and the camera using the A/V cable.

Video Audio

4Make sure the TV and the camera are turned on, and then select the video input mode or source (AV or AV1 for example) of the TV.

5View the videos and photos using the buttons on the camera.

•Depending on the TV model, you may see some digital noise or part of an

image may not appear.

•Images may not be centered on the TV screen depending on your TV settings.

•You can capture photos or videos while the camera is connected to a TV.
