n (Flash): Tap to switch between various camera flash modes.

n (Shooting mode): allows you to set the mode type for image output.

n (Effects): allows you to change the color tone or apply special effects to the photo. Options include: No effect, Cold vintage, Warm vintage, Posterize, Solarize, Greenpoint, Blue point, Red-yellow point, Washed out, Cartoonify, Black and white, Sepia, and Negative.

n (Settings): allows you to access the menu panel and lets you change the camera settings.

Note: You can customize the onscreen shortcuts on the left side of the screen. Touch and hold an icon to display the available options and then drag an available icon to the option you want to replace. Additional options may include Focus mode, Scene mode, Exposure value, Timer, Resolution, White balance, ICO, Metering, Auto contrast, Outdoor visibility, and Guidelines.

n (Camera / Camcorder Mode): allows you to take a photo in various modes. Once you change the mode, the corresponding indicator appears at the top left of the display. Slide the button up for Camera, or down for Camcorder.

n (Shutter release): Tap this button to take a photo.

n (Gallery): Opens the Gallery application so you can browse through and view the photos and videos.

nVolume key: Zoom in and out of the image.

Take a Picture

You can take high-resolution pictures using your phone’s 8.0 MP digital camera.

1. From the main Home screen, tap to activate the camera mode.

Note: The main Home screen initially contains the Camera icon. If you delete it, or if you want to

access the camera from another Home screen, you must tap > .

2. Using the phone’s main display screen as a viewfinder, aim the camera at the subject.

•Before you take a picture, use the Up and Down Volume keys to zoom in or out. You can magnify the picture up to x4 (400 percent).
