n Text message limit:Setsthemaximumnumberoftextmessagesthatcanbestoredonthe
phone(perconversation).
n Multimedia message limit:Setsthemaximumnumberofmultimediamessagesthatcanbe
storedonthephone(perconversation).
n Text templates:Thisscreendisplaysyouravailabletextmessagereplytemplates.Thisisa
readilyaccessiblelistofbothdefaultanduser-definedtextsnippetsthatcanbeusedtoquickly
replytoincomingmessages.
l Toaddanewtemplate,tap ,enteramessage,andtapSave.
l Toeditanexistingtemplate,tapit,makeyourchanges,andthentapSave.

TextMessage(SMS)Settings

n Auto combination:Assemblemulti-segmentmessagesintoasinglemessage.

MultimediaMessage(MMS)Settings

n Auto-retrieve: EnablethisoptiontoautomaticallyretrievetheentirecontentofyourMMS
message.Whenchecked,theMMSmessageheader,messagebody,andanyattachmentswill
automaticallydownloadtoyourphone.
l Ifyoudisablethisoption,onlytheMMSmessageheaderwillberetrievedandshowninthe
messagelist.
n Roaming auto-retrieve: DisablethisoptionifyouonlydesiretheMMSmessageheadersto
downloadwhileroaming.Enablethisoptiontoautomaticallydownloadyourcomplete
multimediamessagesevenwhileroaming.
n MMS alert: promptsyouwithanalertifthetextmodechangesfromSMStoMMS.
