The camcorder assigns fi le names (numbers) are assigned to recorded images according to the
option you select.
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Touch the "Settings " “File No.”
Touch the desired submenu item.
3. To exit the menu, touch the Return ( ) tab.

Submenu items
Series: Assigns fi le numbers in sequence even if you replace the
memory card with another one, format the card, or delete
all fi les. The fi le number is reset only when a new folder is
created.
Reset: Resets the fi le number to 0001 after you format the memory
card, delete all fi les, or insert a new memory card.

When you set “File No.” to “Series.” each fi le is assigned a different number to avoid duplicating fi le
names. This numbering scheme is very useful when you want to manage your fi les on a computer.
Date/Time Set
