Connecting to a Power Source
When using the battery, please follow these guidelines. Failure
to do so may cause excessive heat, fire, or explosion.
ƔIf the battery is bulging or distorted, contact a Samsung service
center. It may present a physical danger.
ƔUse only the recommended battery charger.
ƔDo not place the product close to a fi re or any high temperature
source.
ƔDo not insert the product into the microwave oven.
ƔDo not leave the product inside a car during the summer.
ƔDo not place the product in a hot, humid environment.
ƔDo not place the camera on a carpet, comforter, or electronic
mattress for a long time.
ƔDo not leave the product turned on where there is little or no air
circulation.
ƔDo not let accessories like necklaces, coins, keys, watches, etc.,
come in contact with the battery chamber.
ƔUse Advanced Lithium Batteries with a guarantee from the
manufacturing company.
ƔDo not disassemble the battery or perforate the battery with a
sharp pin.
ƔDo not subject the battery or camera to high pressure.
ƔDo not drop or strike the camera or battery, or subject either to
rough handling or sudden shocks.
ƔDo not exposure the battery or camera to the temperatures over
60°C (140°F) degree.
ƔDo not exposure the camera or battery to water or high humidity.
ƔDo not expose the battery to sources of excessive heat such as
sunshine, fi re, or the like.
Guidelines for disposal
ƔDo not throw away batteries that no longer charge.
ƔDo not dispose of a battery by throwing it in a fi re.
ƔDispose of the battery according to the envronmental laws of
your country, state, or area.
Guideline for recharging a battery
ƔDo not recharge the battery using a method that differs from the
method detailed in this users manual. Failure to follow these
instruction may cause a re or explosion.
