How to use the Scene modes ( )

Using Scene modes, you can easily configure the camera so that it automatically uses the optimal settings for a given shooting situation.

The scene modes are listed below.

[Frame Guide] ( ) : Use this mode when you want someone else to take a picture for you from the angle you choose.

1.Select the Scene mode using the Mode dial. (p.22)

2.Press the Left/Right button to select the desired Scene (Portrait, etc.).

3.Point the camera towards the subject and compose the image using the LCD screen.

4.Press the shutter button to capture an image.

Frame Guide

This mode is appropriate for taking pictures with pre-composed scenes.
