Sound menu

Using the Sound menu, you can set or adjust sound settings in all camera modes except the Voice Recording mode.

The items indicated by * are default settings.

Shutter sound

You can select the shutter sound.	Volume		:Medium
Select Off to turn the Shutter sound off.	Beep Sound		:1

Start up sound

You can select the volume of the start up sound, shutter sound, beep sound, and AF sound. Select Off for no sounds.

You can select the sound the camera plays whenever you turn it on. Select Off to turn the Start Up Sound off.

Beep Sound

-Start up sound : [Off]*, [1], [2], [3]

-If the start up image is set to [Off], the Start Up sound will not play, even if you have set it to 1, 2, or 3 here.

You can select the beep sound the camera plays when you press the buttons. Select Off to turn the Beep Sound off.

If you set AF sound to On, the camera emits the AF sound when you press the Shutter button down half way. Set to On if you want to be aware of when you ‘ve pressed the Shutter button half way down.
