Printing a Do cument
When you print with a Macintosh, you need to check the printer
software setting in each application you use. Follow these steps
to print from a Macintosh .

Open a Macintosh application and select the file you want
to print.

Open the
File
menu and click
Page Setup

Choose your paper size, orientation, scaling, and other
options and click
OK
.

Open the
File
menu and click
Print
.

Choose the number of copies you want and indicate which
pages you want to print.

when you finish setting the options.

Changing P r inter Settings
You can use advanced printing features when using your
printer.
From your Macintosh application, select
Print
from the
File
menu. The printer name which appears in the printer properties
window may differ depending on the printer in use. Except for
the nam e, th e composition of the p rinter p rop e rties wi n d ow is
similar.

Layout
The
Layout
tab pro vides o p tions to ad j ust h ow th e d ocument
appears on the printed page. You can print multiple pages on
one sheet of paper . Select
Layout
from the
Presets
drop-down
list to access the following features.
•
Pages per Sheet
: This feature determines how many
pages printed on one page. For details, see "Printing
Multiple P ages on One Sheet of Paper" on the next column.
•
Layout Direction
: Y ou can select the printing direction on
a pa ge as l ik e th e examples on UI.
Graphics
The higher the setting, the sharper the clarity of printed characters
and graphics. The higher setting also may increase the time it
tak e s to p rin t a do c umen t.
Paper
Set
Paper Type
to correspon d to th e pa pe r loade d in the tr ay
from wh ich yo u want to prin t. This w i ll let yo u g et the best
quality printout. If you load a different type of print material,
select the corresponding paper type.
