Using SetIP program

This progr am is for the ne twor k IP se tting u sing the M AC
address which is the hardware serial number of the network
printer card or interface. Especially, it is for the network
administr a to r to se t severa l ne tw ork IPs at the same tim e .
You can only use SetIP program when your machine is
connected to a network.
SetIP program sho uld b e au tom atically installed dur ing the
printer driver installation.

: If you select
Typical installation for a network
printer
during the prin ter d rive r installation, the SetIP
program auto matically runs after the in stallation. Follow the
below instruction.

The certificate window ap pe ars, click
Trust
.

Print the machine’s network information rep ort which
includes your machine’ s M AC ad dress.

Click
in the SetIP w in dow to open th e TCP/IP
configuration window.

Enter the network card's MAC address, IP address, subne t
mask, default gateway, and then click
Apply.
when you enter the MAC address, enter it without colon(:).

The mach ine p rints the ne tw o rk info rmatio n.
Co nfirm all
the settings are corre ct.

Close the Se tIP p rog ram.

Starting the program

If you want to change your network printer IP setting, follow
the below inst ruc t ion.

Print the machine’s network information rep ort which
includes your machine’ s M AC ad dress.

Open the
Library
folder
Printers
Samsung
Your
printer model name
SetIP
.

Double click the
SetIPApplet.html
file.

When a certificate window appe ars, click

.

Click

Setting Up the Printer

Set up for your printer will be different depending on which
cable you use to connect the printer to your computer—the
network cable or the USB cable.

For a Network-connected

Some print ers do not support a network
interface. Before connecting your printer, make sure
that your printer supports a network interface by
referring to Printer Specifications in your Printer User’s
Guide.

cannot determine the queue name for your printer server,
