About the Gear S

Connecting the Gear S (also referred to as Gear) to your mobile device allows you to check mobile device notifications, answer or make calls, view messages, and more.

After connecting the Gear to the mobile device via Bluetooth for the first time, you can use the following features of the Gear, even when it is not connected to the mobile device:

•Receive mobile device notifications.

•Use calling and messaging features.
