Recording options

iSCENE Submenu Items

This camcorder automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture according to the subject and brightness for optimum recording. Using iScene, you can also specify one of various modes depending on the subject, recording environment, or purpose of filming.

Select the Record (	/	) mode by pressing the MODE button.

1.	Press the MENU button  Control	STBY 0:00:00 [475Min]
	(Left/Right) button  “iSCENE.”
		iSCENE
2.	Select the desired submenu item	Auto
		Sports
	with the Control (Up/Down)	Portrait
	button, and then press the OK	Exit
	button.

3.Press the MENU button to exit the menu.

Use this setting for regular recording

conditions. The camcorder automatically - adjusts the aperture value and shutter

speed for optimum recording.

For recording rapidly moving subjects.

Example: When recording sports.

For recording a portrait image. Use this setting to capture natural skin tones.

For recording subjects under strong light. For example, under stage spotlights in theaters.

Use where sunlight is intense. Ex: a beach.

Use where the refl ection of light is intense. Example: a snowfi eld.

Use to reduce the blurring of objects in rapid motion. Example: an auto race.

For recording objects close-up in high colour saturation.

For recording a waterfall or fountain.

iSCENE also can be set in the shortcut menu. page 26~27
