Basic Picture-Taking
1. Connect a power source to the CAMERA(See page 26)
(Abattery pack or an AC power adapter)
2. Set the device to CAMERAmode and the power switch to the REC mode.
■
Open the LCD monitor.
■
Ensure that the Memory Stick has been properly inserted into the device.
■
Make sure the image you want to record appears on the LCD monitor or viewfinder.
■
Make sure the battery level indicates that there is enough remaining power for your
expected recording time.
3. Press the Photo Button halfway down to set the focus.
■
ASound Effect will play when the focus is set.
■
Press the Photo Button halfway down to automatically set the focus, White Balance,
and exposure for the best results.
4. Press the Photo Button firmly to take a picture.
■
While the camcorder is recording the still image, " " appears on the screen.

This Auto Power off feature is designed to save battery power.
■
Take a photograph in 2m distance from a photographic subject in low illumination.
