OPERATION

OPERATION

The Rhino Disc Mower requires 540 RPM PTO power and is designed to mount on Category II 3-point hitch equipped tractors. Model DM82 mowers require a minimum of 40 HP for operation. Model DM95 mowers require a minimum of 45 HP. Model DM112 mowers require a minimum of 50 HP. Model DM124 mowers require a minumum of 60 HP.

Connecting the Mower to the Tractor

1.Connect the 3-point frame to the lower links of the tractor and secure with klick pins. Adjust the right tractor wheel until dimension A (the distance between the outside of the right tire and the outer edge of the inner shoe) is approximately 4". (See Figure 1.) Lower pins can be adjusted to offset mower. Loosen and remove retaining stud and move to next pin recess (2" Increments) and retighten bolts. Make sure bolt fits into blind pin hole securely.

2.Connect the Top Link (Q) to the 3-point frame and secure the pin. (See Figure 2.)

3.Connect the hydraulic cylinder hose to the appropriate port of the tractor hydraulic system, using a quick coupler (not provided).

WARNING! KEEP HANDS AND BODY PARTS AWAY FROM PRESSURIZED HYDRAULIC LINES. HYDRAULIC FLUID UNDER PRESSURE WILL PENETRATE SKIN AND CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY. MAKE SURE THE WEIGHT OF THE MOWER HAS BEEN RELEASED BEFORE DISCONNECTING HYDRAULIC LINES OR ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE THE HYDRAULIC CYLINDER.

NOTE: If fluid penetrates the skin, it must be surgically removed within a few hours by a doctor familiar with this form of injury or gangrene may result!

4.After 3-point is secure raise tractor 3-point lift. Pull retaining clip (R) and remove pin. Lower stand (A) to transport position & replace pin & clip.(See Figure 3)

5.Adjust the tractor lower links until level. (See Figure 4)
