Listening to a CD

1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

2 Press the CD ■ button.

● If no disc is loaded, “CD NO DISC” will appear.

3 Press the CD 7 (OPEN/CLOSE) button to open the CD compart- ment.

4 Place a CD on the spindle, label side up.

5 Press the CD 7 (OPEN/CLOSE) button to close the CD compart- ment.

Total number of tracks Total playing time

6 Press the CD 06 button to start playback from track 1.

When the last track on the disc has finished, the CD player will stop automati- cally.

To interrupt playback:

Press the CD 06 button.

To resume playback from the same point, press the CD 06 button again.

To stop playback:

Press the CD ■ button.
