5 Press the MEMORY/ENTER button to set the sleep time.

6 The unit will enter the stand-by mode automatically after the pre- set sleep time has elapsed.

To cancel the sleep operation:

Setting the unit to the power stand-by mode cancels the sleep operation.

You can also cancel the sleep operation by the following steps without setting the unit to the power stand-by mode.

1.Whilst in the sleep operation, press the SLEEP button.

2.Within 10 seconds, press the MEMORY/ENTER button. “SLEEP” indicator will go out.

To confirm the remaining sleep time:

1.Whilst in the sleep operation, press the SLEEP button.

2.Within 10 seconds, press the 5/3 or 2/4 button to select “SLEEP”. The remaining sleep time will be displayed.

After 10 seconds, the display will return to normal.

If you press the MEMORY/ENTER button whilst the remaining sleep time is dis- played, you can change the sleep time. (Perform steps 4 and 5 above.)

Notes:

Once the sleep time is set, it will remain unchanged until a new time is entered.

The sleep functions cannot be used to control the device connected to this unit. You must use its sleep functions, if it has them.
