Setting the Area, Date and Time

Example: Setting the date to June 2, 2002 (JUN. 2. 2002) and the time to 10:30 am (10:30 AM) in New York.

Notes:

Before performing the procedure below, make sure that the lithium battery has been installed (see page 13).

If you are in an area that observes daylight saving time, set the time to the standard time. You can then correct it for daylight saving time by performing the procedure on page 59.
