Troubleshooting
Problem Suggestion
My telephone does not
work at all.
• Make sure the batte ry i s in stalled and charg ed c orrectl y (pa ge 2). For opti mum d aily
performance, return the cordless h andset to the telephone base after us e.
• Make sure the power adapter is secur ely plugg ed into an o utlet not controlle d by a wall
switch.
Make sure the telephone line cord is plugge d rmly into the telephone base and the wa ll jack.
• Unplug t he unit’s elec trical power. Wait for approximately 15 seconds, t hen plug it back in.
Allow up to one minute for the cordless hands et and telephone base to synchronize.
• Charge the batter y in the cordless handset for at least 16 hour s.
• Remove and re-inser t the battery. If that still does not work, it may be nec essary to purchase
a new battery.
• Disconnect the telephone base from the jack and plug in a working telephone. If this telephone
does not work, the problem is probably in the wiring or the local service. Call the local telephone
company.

displayed on screen.
• Place the handset in th e telephone base for recharging.
• Remove and re-install the batter y and use it normally until fully discharged, then recharge the
handset on the telephone base for 16 hours.
• If the above measures do no t correct the problem, the batter y may need to be replaced.
