2.1.1Signal words and their meaning

The danger level that is, the severity and probability of danger are indicated by the signal words listed below. Non-observance may lead to the consequences indi- cated:

DANGER

Imminent danger!

May cause serious bodily injury or danger to life!

WARNING

Dangerous situation!

May cause serious bodily injury or danger to life!

CAUTION

Possibly dangerous situation!

May cause light injuries!

NOTE

Possibly harmful situation!

May cause damage to the product or to objects in the immediate vicinity of the product!
