Step by Step
Shift connection to another telephoneYou can shift the connection of your optiPoint 420 along
with all its functions and features to another
optiPoint 420. The "home telephone" is deactivated and
the "guest telephone" becomes "your" telephone. The
original connection of your "guest telephone" is also de-
activated. Its call number should therefore be pro-
grammed by the service personnel during "no log in" to
a "re-direct system". The shift remains effective till you
log off the guest telephone. The shift cannot be under-
taken on a network.
Shift "guest telephone"
Log on personal connection to "guest telephone".
Press the key. The lamp lights up.
> :Select and confirm.
pr Enter your own call number and press the route key.
pr Enter code number and press the route key.
The log on process starts with the message:
"Mob. HFA Logon starts"
"Please wait"
You can now use your connection to the guest tele-
phone to the full extent. Your "home telephone" cannot
be used during this period.
Connect to "home telephone" again
If you do not need your connection to the guest tele-
phone any more, or if you wish to switch to your "home
telephone", just log off.
Press the key. The lamp lights up.

The log off process starts with the message:
"Mob. HFA Logoff starts"
"Logging on to home"
The "guest telephone" is now available again along with
its original call number, features and functions. The sys-
tem transfer could for example, be cancelled again.
