Extendthe cable-management arm and fasten the
cables:
Attention: Makesure that you route Fibre
Channelcables through the tab 1, to ensure
properbend radius and prevent damage to these
cables.
Extendthe cable-management arm by sliding the
servertoward the front of the rack. The rail-lock
pinsstop the server halfway along the rack. Secure
thecables by using the straps that are attached to
thecable-management arm.
Slidethe server back into the rack cabinet.

Securethe server to the rack:
Beforeyou transport the rack cabinet to another
locationwith the server installed, you must secure
theserver to the rack. If necessary, disconnect the
cablesfrom the rear of the server; then, slide the
serverout of the rack 150 mm (6 in.) and insert the
M6screws in each slide rail. Then, secure the server
tothe rack cabinet with the M6 screws and
reconnectthe cables.
Toremove the server from the rack, reverse these instructions. Store this information with your server
documentationfor future use.
