extend the battery life, it’s best not to let the Lithium Ion battery discharge completely before recharging. Keep the Controller plugged into the charger or charging cradle when not in use, or charge it overnight, as this type of battery does not suffer from memory effect and can be charged anytime.

Caution: Use only the supplied power adapter to charge the Controller’s battery. Using another adapter will damage your Controller and void your product warranty.

Battery Replacement

After several years (depending upon usage), the battery on your Controller may not hold a charge as long as it once did. Because of the Controller’s splash-resistant design, the battery on the Controller must be factory-replaced. Return it to the Sonos Service Center where it will be promptly replaced and returned to you. Go to www.sonos.com/support for instructions and battery replacement cost.

Caution: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Return to Sonos or an authorized Sonos service center for replacement.
