While holding down the SET (YES) button in the menu control section, press the gor Gbutton. The time code value of the current tape position is set as point A or B, and a message “A set” or “B set” is displayed for 0.5 second in the time counter display.

When setting point A or B, you can only use a time code value. Even when COUNTER is selected with the COUNTER SELECT button, you cannot use a CNT value to set point A or B.
To check the point A or B time code value
Press the g or G button in the menu control section. While the button is held down, the point A or B time code value is displayed on the monitor and in the time counter display.
If you hold down the g and G buttons simultaneously, the value shown is the point B time code value minus the point A time code value. If the point A time code value is greater than the point B time code value, a minus sign (−) is shown before the value.
