Basic Speaker Settings (“SP SETUP”)

You can input the speaker positions and select whether or not to engage any centre or surround speakers.

Select “SP SETUP” in the AMP menu. To use the AMP menu, see “Using the AMP Menu” (page 91). For details about setting speaker distance, see also “5. Basic speaker setup” (page 29).

The default settings are underlined.

Notes

The settings below may not be the defaults if you followed “Step 8: Initial Setup” (page 28) to reflect the current speaker placement.

Change your current settings again should you change the speaker positions.

“CENTER SP” (centre speaker)

CENTER YES” Normally select this.

“CENTER NO” Select this if no centre speaker is used.

“SURR SP” (surround speaker)
