Using the CD display

You can check the total number of tracks, the total playing time and the remaining time on the current track or on the CD. When a CD TEXT disc is loaded, you can check the information recorded on the disc, such as the titles or artist names.

Tips

You can check a track title at any time during play. If you press SCROLL on the remote for a CD with CD TEXT, a track title appears scrolling in the display.

Press SCROLL at any point during the scroll display to stop the scrolling. Press SCROLL again to restart the scrolling.

Pressing and holding DISPLAY for 2 seconds or more switches the spectrum analyzer ON/OFF.

Note

The display contents differ in stop mode.

In addition, in stop mode the disc title and artist name, total playing time of the programme, and other information are also displayed.

Each time you press the button during normal play or in stop mode, the display changes as follows:

During normal play

Remaining time on the current CD (1 DISC mode) or “--.--” display (ALL DISCS mode)

Clock display (for eight seconds)

Effect (P FILE) name or “EFFECT ON (OFF)”

*If a CD that has no title is loaded, nothing appears. When the CD contains more than 20 tracks, CD TEXT is not displayed from track 21 on.
