Timer-recording radio programmes

To timer record, you must first preset the radio station (see page 8) and set the clock (see page 7).

1 Tune in the preset radio station (see page 16).

2 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.

“SET (DAILY 1)” appears.

3 Press V or v to select “SET MD REC”, then press ENTER.

“ON” lights up, and the hour indication flashes.

4 Set the time to start recording.

Press V or v repeatedly to set the hour, then press ENTER.

The minute indication flashes.

REC

Press V or v repeatedly to set the minute, then press ENTER.

The hour indication flashes again.

5 Set the time to stop recording following the procedure in step 4.

6 Press V or v repeatedly to select the recording mode you want to record in.

Each time you press the button, the display changes as follow:

tSTEREO REC (Stereo) r

LP2 REC (2 times stereo)

r

LP4 REC (4 times stereo)

r

MONO REC (Monaural)

7 Press ENTER.

The timer recording settings appear, then the original display returns.

8 Insert a recordable MD.

If you use a partially recorded MD, recording starts after the recorded tracks.

9 Press ?/1 to turn off the system.
