If you connect an external circuit,
Caution
While a tape is running, do not turn off the power, using an AC timer. The VCR and a tape may be damaged. When turning off the power of the VCR, make sure to press p on this VCR first to stop the tape transport, then turn off the power.
Note
The VCR cannot locate an index or unrecorded portion within 20 seconds from the beginning of the tape.
After playing back all or part of the tape, this VCR can rewind the tape to the beginning and stop playback automatically (One Program Play.)
Using an external switchConnection
Connect an external switch to the ONE PGM PLAY TRIGGER jack at the rear of the main unit.
Operation
1 Turn on the power of this VCR.
2 Press the external switch.
The ONE PGM PLAY indicator on the front panel lights.
The tape rewinds to the beginning automatically, then playback starts. After playback stops, the tape rewinds to the beginning automatically and stops.
Using the ONE PGM PLAY button on this VCRUse the ONE PGM PLAY button when you check the operation during Auto Repeat and One Program Play.
1 Turn on the power of this VCR.
2 Press the ONE PGM PLAY button on the operation panel.

The tape rewinds to the beginning automatically, then playback starts. After playback stops, the tape rewinds to the beginning automatically and stops.
The point where the tape stops playbackThe VCR plays back the tape from the beginning to the first index (if there is no index on the tape, to the unrecorded portion; if none, to the tape end), and stops. Then the tape rewinds to the beginning. (The point where the tape stops is the same as the turning point of the Auto Repeat play.)
