You can set the dual recording mode (recording an MP4 movie during movie recording) to on or off.

Descriptions of menu items

On :

Records an MP4 movie while recording a 4K movie (FDR-AX100/FDR-AX100E) or HD movie.

Off (default setting):

Does not record an MP4 movie while recording an HD movie.

Note

When [File Format] is set to [XAVC S HD] and [Frame Rate] is set to 60p (models with the NTSC color system)/50p (models with the PAL color system), [Dual Video REC] will be set to [Off].

When [File Format] is set to [AVCHD] and [REC Mode] is set to [60p Quality (models with the NTSC color system)]/[50p Quality (models with the PAL color system)], [Dual Video REC] will be set to [Off].

When [File Format] is set to [AVCHD] and [Frame Rate] is set to 60p (models with the NTSC color system)/50p (models with the PAL color system), [Dual Video REC] will be set to [Off].

When [Dual Video REC] is set to [On], you cannot use the following functions.

Capturing photos during movie recording (Dual Capture)
