Capturing photos during movie recording (Dual Capture)

Each time you press the FOCUS MAGNIFIER button, the magnification scaling changes as follows:

Movies: between ×1 → ×2 → ×4 → Off

Photos: between ×1 → ×6.3 → ×12.6 → Off

Note

Even though the image displayed on this product has been magnified, the recorded image is not magnified.

When the focus is set to manual, you can adjust the focus when displaying a magnified image on the LCD monitor.

Capturing photos during movie recording (Dual Capture)

You can shoot photos during movie recording.

1. Press PHOTO during movie recording to capture still photos.

Note

You may not be able to shoot photos depending on the setting in [When an item of [Picture Effect] is selectedREC Mode] and [When [Dual Video REC] is set to [On] and during movie recording Frame Rate].

You cannot capture photos during movie recording in the following situation(s):

When an item of [Picture Effect] is selected

When [Dual Video REC] is set to [On] and during movie recording

You can rotate the LCD monitor 180 degrees so the LCD monitor faces toward you to record yourself.
