The image size is set according to the format selected as [File Format].

Note

The default value is M.

You cannot select L when [File Format] is set to [XAVC S HD] or [AVCHD] (L will be changed to M automatically).

The image size selected with this setting also is applied to photos taken by the Dual Capture function.

[Clear Image Zoom] is used for capturing M size photos during movie recording (Dual

Capture) in the [AVCHD] or [XAVC S HD] movie format and when recording L size photos.
