You cannot dub correctly using the

AN connecting cable.

You cunnot input externally from a device connected with the A/V connecting cable.

The A/V connecting cable is not connected properly.

Make sure that the A/V connecting cable is connected to the input jack of the other device for dubbing a picture from your canlcorder.

When connected using an i.LINK cable, no picture appears on the monitor screen or the picture is

distorted during dubbing.

Sel [VCR HDV/DV] on the

(STANDARD SET) menu iccording to the

requirements of the connected device lp. 56).

If the device to be connected is not compatible with HDV 1080i specification, you cannot dub in HD (high definition) image qualily (p. 64). For details, refer to the instruction manuals supplied wflh the device to be connected.

Down convert the pictures recorded in HDV format to DV format and dub in SD

(standard definition) image quality (p. 64).

You cannot add sound to the

recorded tape.

You cannot add sound to the recorded tape on this unit.

You cannot dub correctly using the HDMI cable.

You cunnot dub pictures using the HDMI cable.

New sound added to a recorded tape

on another camcorder is not heard.

Still pictures cannot be dubbed from

a tape to a "Memory Stick Duo."

You cannot record or a distorted picture rely be recorded if the tape has been used repeatedly for recording.

Disconnect USB devices other than the

keyboard, the mouse, and the camcorder

from the _"(USB)jack on Ihe compuler.

Disconnect the cable from the computer

and camcorder, restart the computer, then connect them again correctly.

You cannot install the supplied software, "Picture Motion Browser," on a Macintosh computer.

You cannot use "Picture Motion Browser" on a Macintosh computer.
