Warningindicatorsand messages

If indicators appear on tile LCD screen or in the viewfinder, check the l\_llowing.

Some symptoms you can fix by yourself. If the problem persists even after you have tried a couple of times, contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.

C:(or E:) r-IN:r-IN (Self-diagnosis

display)

C:04:F-ID

The battery pack is not m

"InI_LITHIUM" batte W pack (H series). Use an "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack (H series) (p. 93).

Connect Ihe DC plug of the AC Adaptor to the DC IN jack of your camcorder securely (p. 13).

C:21:F-ID

Moisture condensation has occurred.

Remove the cassette and leave your camcorder l_)r at least 1 hour, then re-

insert the cassette (p. 96).

C:22:r3D

Clean the head using a ch..aning cassette (optional) (p. 97).

C:31 :E3D / C:32:r3D

Symptoms that arc not described abo'_c have occurred. Remove and insert the

cassette, then operate your camcorder

E:61 :r3D / E:62:r3D / E:91 :fin

Contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility, lnform

them of the 5-digit code, which stal_.s fronl "E."

101-1001 (Warning indicator

The file is damaged.

The file is unreadable (p. 92).

The battery pack is nearly used up.

Depending on the operating,

environment, or battery conditions, (-\_may flash, even if there are

approximately 5 to 10 minutes remaining.
