the current or the next track

(AMS*)

During playback, turn _ _ clockwise or

counterclockwise (or press I_t+ or repeatedly on the remote) for the number of songs you want to skip forward (or backward).

The search direction, + (Jtbrward) or (backward), and the number of songs being

skipped (1--9) appear in the display.

• If you press "q_ (or _ on the remote) during "TAPE A" fimcfion and there is no tape in Deck A, the system automatically switches to "TAPE B" fimction when there is a tape in Deck B Then. playback will start and vice vmsa

You can also press FUNCTION iepeatedly on the 1emote to select "TAPE A" m "TAPE B".

--CD Synchro Recording

You can record a whole disc into a tape. You can use TYPE I (normal) tape. The recording level is adjusted automatically.

1 Load a recordable tape into Deck B.

2 Press CD and load a disc you want to record.

3 Press CD SYNC.

Deck B standby for recording.

"REC PAUSE, START" indicator flashes.

4 Press DIRECTION repeatedly to select ".-_--" to record on one side or "c_-Y'

(or "RELAY") to record on both sides.

5Press REC PAUSE/START.

Recording starts.

To stop recording

Press m.

To record a disc by specifying track order

--Program Edit

You can record tracks on all the discs in the order you want using Program Play. Between

steps 2 and step 3 of"(D Synchro Recording"

(page 20), do steps 2 to 6 of"Creating your own

program" (page 15). When programming, make sure the playing times/'or each side do not exceed the length of one side of the tape.

Notes

You cannot listen to other somces while recording.
