Making a digital recording on

an MD

Connect an optical cable.

See "Hooking up optional components" on

page 33.

2 Start recording.

Refer to the operating instructions provided

with the connected component.

Note

When making a digital recolding tiom the system to an

optional component (MD deck) cmmected to the CD

DIGITAL OUT jack, start the optional component

recording in advance.

( onnect an external antenna to improve the

reception.

FM antenna

( onnect an optional FM external antenna. You

can also use the TV antenna instead.
