Searching for a title/ chapter/track/scene/ index/album/file

You can search a title (DVD VIDEO, DVD-RW in VR (Video Recording) mode), chapter (DVD VIDEO, DVD-RW in VR mode), track (AUDIO CD, VIDEO CD, MP3 audio track), scene (VIDEO CD), index (VIDEO CD, Super Audio CD), album (MP3 audio track, JPEG image file, DivX video file) and file (JPEG image file, DivX video file).

As titles, chapters, tracks, scenes, indexes, albums and files are assigned unique numbers on the disc, you can select the number you want from the Control Menu in the on-screen display. You can also search for a particular point using the time code (Time Search).

1 Press DISPLAY. (When playing a DATA CD with JPEG image files, press

DISPLAY twice.)

The Control Menu appears in the on-screen display.

2 Press V or v repeatedly to select the search method.

“** (**)” is selected (** refers to a number).

The number in parentheses indicates the total number of titles, chapters, tracks, scenes, indexes, albums or files.
