Whenyo u record images in an extremely cold location or using the LCD backlig ht,

theoperating time becomes short. When using the camera in an extremely cold

location, place the battery pack in your pocket or other places to keep it warm, then

insertthe batterypa ck into the camera just before recording. When using a pocket

heater,take care not to let theheater directly contact the battery.

Note on the /CHG lamp during charging

The /CHG lamp may flash:

•Whena m alfunction occurs in the battery pack (page 99).

The /CHG lamp d oes not light up:

•Whenthe battery pack is not installed properly.

Approximatetime to charge a completely discharged battery pack at a temperatureof
