Notes on using your computerSoftware
Datarecorded with your camera is stored in the followingformats. Make sure that
applications that support these file formats are installed on your co mputer.
Stillimage (except TEXT mode, uncompressed mode and Clip Motion): JPEG
format
Movingimage/Voice memo: MPEG format
Uncompressedmode still image: TIFF mode
TEXTmode/Clip Motion: GIF format.
Depending on your application software, the file size may increase whe n you open
astill image file.
Whenyou copy the image to the camera from your computer, which was modified
witha reto uching software and was converted to another file format, the FILE
ERRORmessagemay appear and you may be unable to open the image.
Dependingon your application software, only the firstframe of the Clip Motion file
maybe played back.
Communications with your computer (for Windows only)
Communications between your camera and your computer m ay not recover after
recoveringfrom Suspend or Sleep.
